At this moment the Plagron sales team is divided up into 3 teams with 14 people in total. 3 sales managers, 10 account managers and 1 inside sales (assistant). In this role you will closely cooperate with a number of different departments like Marketing and R&D. You will report directly to the sales manager, the sales manager reports to general management.

As an account manager you are responsible for building, maintaining and expanding the relationships with both retailers and wholesalers. You will also be responsible for developing new accounts and actively seek new business. Your goal is to increase sales with existing customers and prospects. You are responsible for the entire sales process, pre-sales, sales and after sales.

You will be on the road 4 days a week and one day a week, you will use as a home office day.

2-3 times a year you will spent some days at the Plagron HQ in Ospel, the Netherlands to meet with your colleagues.  Within the sales process you are able to accurately work according to our internal processes and guidelines. You signal opportunities and developments within the market and actively share these within the team.  Also you will educate the shop staff to assure they have all the knowledge needed to be able to advice consumers about our products.

Job Requirements

  • You are native English (hard requirement) and you live in the London area.
  • You have a minimum of 3 years prior experience in a similar role.
  • You enjoy being on the road.
  • You have an ambitious, independent and convincing personality
  • You work accurately, structured and you are both enthusiastic and creative.
  • You have a great commercial sense and are able to communicate on all different levels.
  • You are able to create goodwill with your customers and you have a very strong focus on relationships.
